Ep 10. - Enjoy Life and Medicine Again
In this episode, I talk to Dr. Mary Leung about how it is possible to enjoy life and medicine again. She is using her Positive Psychology training and journaling to create a clinical day that is more enjoyable and sustainable. She inspires others to start to see their clinic day as an opportunity to develop relationships and enjoy life outside of medicine.
Meet Dr. Mary Leung
Dr. Mary Leung is a board-certified physician in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. She is also a certified life coach who is passionate about serving physicians who are stressed, overwhelmed, and burned out.
From the depths of her own experience, Mary started Shining With Gratitude MD, whose ardent purpose is to guide other physicians through their unique situations. So they can feel better, have more time outside of their clinical work, regain control, have more clarity, and rediscover the joy in life. Mary believes that if physicians can enjoy practicing medicine again, they can care for their patients better. Through renewal, they can shine brighter for their families and all the lives they touch.
