We talk about how practicing medicine doesn’t always look the way that we want it to and can’t always look the way we want it to look. We talk about how as a physician we give our time, our care, and our concern in the hopes to make up for the lack of knowledge we feel that we have, and this creates toxicity.
Meet Dr. Megan Melo
Megan Melo is a Family and Obesity Medicine Physician, as well as a Certified Life Coach, specializing in Physician Burnout. After leaving behind an employed position in a large health system, Dr. Melo currently practices part-time in a physician-owned practice and is the CEO of Healthier For Good PLLC, which offers both 1:1 and group coaching to Women Physicians and Associated Health Professionals. Dr. Melo lives in Seattle, WA with her husband and 2 boys, and loves long walks and playing board games.
