How many times have you been in bed and you think "I should get up and finish that charting because I can't sleep anyway?"

Or you wake up in the night and think "I should just go tackle that inbox as I'm Never going to get back to sleep anyway!"

"I SHOULD"

I swear that phrase has taken years off my life and set about to ruin many Family Doctors

Sleep, that's for people who don't have full inboxes or people who get their charting done, not for Family Docs, Right??

This month I have been working with my business coach on how to look after myself as I take on massive goals between now and the new year. Intentional massive action.

My intentional thought is "I can only achieve this if I get adequate sleep".

This thought has kept me in bed every night this week. Even though the discomfort of wanting to get up and work on my business.

YES YOU HEARD RIGHT!! THE DISCOMFORT! IT IS SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE TO STAY IN BED WHEN YOU ARE "SHOULDING" ON YOURSELF!!!

I SHOULD GET MY CHARTING DONE

I SHOULD EMPTY MY INBOX

I SHOULD JUST CHECK MY APPOINTMENTS FOR TOMORROW

SO WHY SHOULDN'T YOU GET UP AND DO THOSE TASKS?

MY WHY? Because Success does not mean compromising my personal goals and health!

Not any more!

FAMILY DOCS YOU NEED YOUR SLEEP AND YOUR REST

Only YOU can prioritize this

EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING ELSE STEALS YOUR REST

Be intentional with your sleep and rest

SLEEP WELL!!
